What a relief

M’s glaucoma surgery seems to have worked (knock wood).

The surgery was a couple weeks ago. She took it like a champ, as usual. (Poor kid has had something like 15 procedures under general anaesthesia already.) We’ve had a series of follow-up visits, and the doctor always says “Looks good”. I figured “Looks good” meant “Well, we don’t need an emergency procedure yet.” But this time, “Looks good” meant “I don’t need to see you again for over a month.” And that, in turn, means “looks good”.

Sounds good.
